Already seen enough of Jon Singleton to know I prefer him in the lineup over Abreu

We have less than two months till October. Give Singleton 50% of the playing time at 1B, move Abreu down to 8th or 9th when he's playing.

The wierdness of baseball on full display in the top of the 9th. Altuve hits a little flare that the SS can't quite reach and Alvarez smashes a line drive off the center field wall. Both go as singles.

And that two strike foul tip by Tucker that the catcher couldn't quite hold on to. The difference in the game.

Anyone on either side who pays any attention to the other team's fans or thread and makes their animus personal is silly. Sports are entertainment and not to be taken that seriously.

Key AB by Singleton to lead off 9th. Had he gotten out Altuve would've had one of his lackadaisical hero ball free swinging ABs and it'd be 2 outs.

Remember last year when Altuve walked it off against the Yankees the day after Sanchez and Judge mocked him by trotting around the bases and tugging on their jerseys? And the tear the Astros went on after that? This kind of has that same feel.

I know Bautista is having an incredible season, but I wonder if he got caught up in the moment? Seems like he was over-throwing, threw Tucker one fastball that bounced three feet in front of the plate. I don't care how hard you can throw, if you let a hitter like Tuck sit on your fastball it won't go well.

So was I the only one that caught Tucker laughing and then deflecting the question in the post game TBS interview when they asked how he was able to pick up the difference in the fastball and the splitter? Made me wonder if Bautista was tipping his pitches and the Astros figured it out?
