Should have standing with his bat on his shoulder if he had hadn't decided to cheat on that 2-0 pitch, thinking it would be a fastball. That's the only way he can catch up to it now and Orioles know it.

While I understand the skepticism with Singleton, I actually would have considered throwing him in the fire and starting him at 1B today. Singleton is a FB hitter and Abreu is too slow to feel good against 100 anymore.
