Maton may have saved the game by walking Judge with the bases loaded...instead of trying to get him out

Don't know if this has been mentioned but next week is really weird in terms of scheduling

3 game series at home vs Angels
3 game series on the road at Miami
3 game series at home vs Mariners

Wonder what the logic was by MLB of breaking that up with an out of state trip

Fan approved lineups scored 7 and 9 runs this series. Maybe Dusty does need help

Slightly concerning seeing Bregman and Abreu this series. We know their slumps are long and drawn out. We needed a unicorn game for Jake just to salvage this one

It is frustrating to go 5-2 but lose a game and half in the standings. We've done our part in stacking series wins (and this split)

After today's game he's probably about a league average player with elite CF defense. He's second to Julio in OAA in way fewer attempts. He might end up a 2.5-3 WAR player being a part time OFer.

And Seattle is 3.0 games back of the last WC, 2.0 back in the loss column. Of course they are making this ground up at the expense of the Angels so who knows if it's real or just good luck.
