The logic of Dusty/Dana right now is baffling


I think the plan was to give Urquidy some MLB action and have France finish off the game in a tandem start.

How we, Dusty screwed it up by bringing in our currently most unreliable bullpen arm in a high leverage situation. It should have been Neris and the. JP gets to start a clean inning.


I get that and it's not the worst plan… I just would have flipped it and had France start because you know he will get you at least 5 innings with 2 runs or less. Urquidy was only going to go about 4 innings max… to me that screams bullpen.


I'm OK with it mainly because it gives you the option to let Urquidy go as long as he can. If he could get you 6, then great.
