It really is amazing how someone who extends the one to call balls strikes misses all strikes on the edges of the zone and calls them balls

I'll never understand the mentality of protecting the gentle psyche of vets while just **** boying non established guys/rookies.

If France has "pitched too much" this season and they are worried about his arm fatigue…

Then what difference will it make in the grand scheme of things if he goes 4 innings in relief vs 6 inning in a start?

I think the plan was to give Urquidy some MLB action and have France finish off the game in a tandem start.

How we, Dusty screwed it up by bringing in our currently most unreliable bullpen arm in a high leverage situation. It should have been Neris and the. JP gets to start a clean inning.

I get that and it's not the worst plan… I just would have flipped it and had France start because you know he will get you at least 5 innings with 2 runs or less. Urquidy was only going to go about 4 innings max… to me that screams bullpen. Plus why take the one consistent starter you have out of his routine
