I have to come to this thread for solace. One of my IRL buddies defends Dusty when I whine about the lineups.

Because at least earlier in the year Yordan or Altuve was hurt. Now they're both back and Yordan can't crack the top 3 in the lineup because of lefty pitchers, even though he and the other left he'd stack against kill lefties.
At this point it's stubbornness and self inflected harm, which is way more frustrating. It's actually got me complaining about the lineup.
You just scored 7 runs with your best hitters at the top of the lineup yesterday and you change it to willingly disadvantage your best hitter.
The fact Nestor didn't have to face Yordan with Altuve on in the first inning was criminal.

Completely agree, but Abreu should've gotten that AB for Maldy. Absolutely absurd that it didn't happen.

Wouldn't blame them. The only consistent thing with this team has been faceplanting any time it's close to the division lead.

Graveman CLEARLY doesn't have it today. Get him out of there!!! As bad as the offense has been, you HAVE to give them a chance in the 9th.

Wild throw by Maldy allows a stolen base. Decent throw and he's out by a few feet

I'd say pull graveman but it doesn't really matter at this point
