Because every night it's the same drivel here, and last I checked, we have won a couple of pennants and a WS with the guy behind the plate. His defense is NOT as bad as many here think it is (caught stealing % is as much about a pitcher's ability to hold a runner on as it is the arm behind the plate). To complain about his bat is low hanging fruit. Honestly, if we got the seasons out of Bregman, Abreu, Pena that we expected AND had we not lost all those games from Tuve and Yordan, no one would care about his light hitting.
