It’s not in the Guards DNA to eat part of 17M due next year. I mean cutting Zunino for like 3.5M was a shock.
Also, anyway we trade for a backend SP for a minor league SS???
Bell would make a nice bench bat / DH / back up 1B. He's due a little favorable recession.

Presumably this means that either J. Naylor or Bell is going to find a new home, and it's probably not going to be Naylor, who has been one of the few very good Cleveland hitters this year.

I think the guy has someone who might be an insider but jumps the gun on stuff and this idiot can't wait to put it out there, not realizing he might be jeopardizing the deal if it gets enough clicks.

Cleveland #Guardians president Chris Antonetti says that Kyle Manzardo will be their starting first baseman, hopefully in 2024, with Josh Bell under contract through only next season.

They are still trying to figure out who will replace Aaron Civale in the starting rotation.
They may wait until the offseason to trade Bell based on this.
If you pay attention to the things he tweets and how he talks about certain players when they struggle, I really have a hard time believing he has "friends on the team" like he claims. Or any sort of source. Maybe I'm wrong.
