He'd be a good veteran presence and would hopefully take some of the pressure off the young guys

We don't need cy young Verlander, just need him to be solid and dependable

Feeling greedy but would like to see JV plus one of the other rumored starters like Montgomery or Lorenzen. Then Javier and Brown would move to bullpen in playoff rotation

I'm kinda surprised E-rod was the target given the fact that he seems to have had injury issues this year, and he could easily claim his options for future years, and we end up stuck with that. Seems pretty risky. Then again, Verlander is pretty risky too.
