The year next year is why he wasn't resigned here. Click didn't want to give it to him and instead signed Neris. Once again click was spot on. Neris has been a little better.

Here is how Graveman has been. Solid. Not great.

When he left the sinker usage dropped way down even though that was one of his best pitches. I wonder if the Astros make a few tweaks and get him back to a high level like 2021.

GB% is way down this year. Previously has been around 55% and this year its only at 39%.

xERA is 4.32 and his HR/9 are way up and his K/9 are down.

I don't mind sending Lee

He never impressed me and at best was relegated to backup catcher for Yanier.

Basically a backup catcher at best for a controllable BP arm. Not bad

Lee wasn't a long-term option here with Diaz's emergence anyway, seems like. This leaves Meyers for another deal hopefully.

He isn't…and I don't see us changing the 40man days before the deadline where we very well might trade away more than we acquire naturally clearing space. Also whoever was DFA'd loses value if they could have just been signed on waivers

Cory Lee is now 25. This will be his third year in AAA. His OPS is in the mid to low 700s. He hasn't had a season in AAA with an OPS in the 800s.

The only real "miss" we had was not extending Charlie Morton.

Springer, Correa, Keuchel, Osuna, Cole (too expensive to justify) we all hit on not keeping

Wonder if the Dodgers tried pursuing Graveman instead of Joe Kelly? Graveman is better than Kelly imo. A reunion for Kelly with the Dodgers probably was the reason they traded for him.
