I mean he doesn't have a choice. He's spent the last 3 years trying to find ways NOT to play this guy and all chas does is just finding reasons to prove him wrong

Dusty gets a lot of grief but I think his senile almost strange stance on chas has got to be one of the more glaring oddities/blunders

It makes zero sense but Dusty doesn't even know what half the offensive and defensive metrics even mean. He has to ask Espada to explain them to him like he's 5 bc he's being retained by a roster that keeps bailing out his moronic decisions for the last 3 seasons. I'm so ready to have ANYONE in our dugout other than this guy. It's embarrassing watching it night after night

I have waffled back and forth on Bellinger a ton.

On one side he's rocking a .918 OPS. He can play anywhere in the OF and 1B. He fills a need as LHH.

But... I don't think he's as good as his #s. I don't like him. He's streaky AF. His postseason overall is a .661 OPS and .432 OPS in the WS. He has a larger sample size than most in the playoffs (excluding the Astros core).

I won't be mad if it happens, but I really hope we don't overpay for a rental that may end up being a zero.

Getting JV back with the Mets paying you to take him would be some 4-D Chess.

There was no one on the bench that screams "I should be playing over the starters" tonight. Sure, make the argument for Julks over Meyers, but that is debatable with the upgrade in the OF.
