Crazy game, yes.

Bull pen should have closed it, sure.

But in the end - this one is mostly in Blue. He's been f'ing awful and all one direction in this damn game.

I don't think it's a bad comparison. Both pitchers are power pitchers that have had control issues in the past, miss and blow games because they give up bombs.

James with a career 4.64 era, .204 average and 1.34 WHIP. Stanek with a 3.49 era, .212 average and 1.31 WHIP.

Stanek this year is way under his career average at 4.94 era, .248 average and 1.58 WHIP, if we want to look at recent stats.
