Probably best not to have any hurt feelings with the manager. The last thing this team needs is any drama with the staff ace. Dusty frustrates the hell out of us, but the players undoubtedly see him as being in their corner. He does that really well.

Yea, just hurts the relationship if they ever want to try and extend him. I know they probably wouldn't offer what he's looking for, but still. To be clear, him not pitching was the right call.
