I really feel for the pitchers right now. This idiotic approach not only generates no walks, it lets the other staff off the hook and it simultaneously kills ours with no rest. It's like someone purposefully designed the worst possible hitting strategy you could come up with and decided to bet their job on it.

I know many in the statcast era don't like this idea, but with all the ineffective ABs, we need a speedster to try reaching on a bunt. There is zero pressure on the pitchers or defenders for Seattle.
