Does his fastball seem to be completely flat this year? Seems like he had good arm side run last year and this year it's just flat…

We'll today Martinez couldn't locate a generous strike zone so after he threw over 20 pitches in his one inning of work there probably wasn't much of a way to send him back out

Agreed, he must have not gotten a good jump out of the box.
Also, as much as I have loved him, what was he doing shoving his hand into the face and glove of the 1B man?? That's really some shady stuff and not what our players need to be doing if they want to remove the stigma of cheating….

I disagree about the cheating stigma. The play was bush league; not cheating.
