If you don't trust him to bat in clutch situations late in games, he shouldn't be your everyday starter.

I don't get Dusty. When we carried 3 catchers and PHing Maldy made sense he didn't do it.

Now we don't carry Salazar but Dusty is PHing like crazy and having to give up the DH.

The choices other than him are Meyers, Kessinger, and Hensley. There are zero good bench bats available on this roster. Maldy would have struck out too

I agree with this, I was more leaning to the fact that it's silly to give up the DH when all options are bad

Sorry, missed a few innings:

  • Blanco with the quality start. He showed me, so kudos.
  • What the hell was that route, Chas?
  • It may be time to give Julks some props.
  • Dusty really does understand how to pinch hit for Maldy with Diaz at DH.
  • I agree with Farmer (weird, I know) that the bench needs help.

I love Texas Aggie sports, but I love Texas A&M more.

Is there a lefty bat that plays catcher, 1B and LF that is worthy of a bench spot to trade for? Basically a slightly worse version of Diaz but swings lefty
