Ronel Blanco would be on five days rest to start tomorrow, if the Astros summon him. They would need to put a pitcher on the injured list to do so, though. Blanco hasn't been down for at least 15 days.

As far as tomorrow's TBA, you pretty much have to IL Javier for tired arm or make up an injury to a reliever or else you have to start Mushinski/Martinez tomorrow and make it a true bullpen game. Both Blanco and Dubin are ineligible to be recalled before the All-Star break without an injury.

Also, you have to figure that even if Altuve avoided anything serious, if he is not going to play before the break, they should be ILing him retroactive to Tuesday so that he can be eligible to return to start the second half.

That is for IL stints. For shuttling between majors and minors it is 10 days for both position players and pitchers unless there is an IL posting that forces a move.
EDIT: Actually as I posted this I remembered that they changed option windows at the same time as the differentiated IL lengths. So yes, a pitcher has to stay down 15 days before he can be recalled.
In this case it doesn't matter as none of our obvious candidates can be recalled with an IL posting as they have all been down on the farm for less than one week.

I don't think Yainer is untouchable, but I highly doubt we move him unless we're getting impact guys in return.
I'd consider as part of a package for Cease and Robert (for example), but there aren't many potential deals that would merit his inclusion.

Mariano Rivera's career WHIP was exactly 1.000. Ryan Pressly's career WHIP with HOU is 0.918.
Don't trade Diaz, don't trade Chaz! I have no doubt we'd have a 3-5 game division lead if those 2 had been playing every day with only a rest day here and there - not the other way around.

Kuhnel has a 2.25 ERA in 3 games with Sugar Land. Doesn't say much but Watkins has a 45.00 ERA in his short time there.

While that is possible, I am not sure why they would switch out Mushinski for Gage if the point is to eat innings as a long reliever. That is what Mushinski is already there for.
Gage has started 119 games in the minors. Maybe that factors in if that is indeed the move
