So what do we think the issue is? Mechanical? More innings than he's ever thrown when you combine playoffs with being a full time starter? I.e. is it something extended rest + ASB may fix, or does he have to make real tweaks?

Gonna need him.

The frustrating thing about maldy is they take a very likable guy and make the fanbase hate him
Because they insist on playing
Him so much. Make him the once a week catcher and he's a fan favorite.
