The Rangers are a good team but they're not quite ready.
They lack clutchness and I get the sense the moment is too big for most of them when the lights are brightest.
I also have a feeling all their guys going to the ASG is going to have a negative effect on them.

We lost JV to free agency.
We lost LMJ, Garcia, and Urquidy to injury.
We've trotted out 4 starting pitchers who were Space Cowboys anywhere from a week ago to less then a year ago....
...and we have the best ERA in the majors.

This is true but also why we should want to keep him. The other problem is it's very hard to find a team that would give up a big league player for him. That team is likely also trying to compete and can't afford to give up productive talent. That leads me to why you trade Meyers. Someone will see him as an upgrade and I'd be more willing to take some younger, high risk type prospects for him knowing that it frees up ABs for Chas.

Yes. I want to keep Chas and let him have the CF spot until Gilbert shows he's ready to compete. Chas is a 25+ HR guy.
Looking at the standings Cleveland is going to to manage to make it again. They are 2 games under .500, a 1/2 game back of the Twins and the have three games in hand.

Yes but we don't need prospects. We need help ASAP at the big league level. Unfortunately I agree with the other poster that Chaz will most likely be the one traded because he seems to have the most upside over Meyers. I hope I'm wrong though because I'd rather have Chaz on this team instead of Jake.
