Agreed, there's too many issues to fix that a trade probably wouldn't get you without selling the future. Add a piece here or there without giving up top prospects and see what that gets you.
If it's a down year it's a down year, we have enough pieces that we could reload with a good offseason.
One thing I know for sure is that I don't care how this season ends, I don't want Dusty in the dugout in 2024.

Leaning even more into my option 3: minimal moves to set ourselves up for a smart offseason and reset for next year. Ride the rest of this year out and hope Yordan, Brantley and Urquidy can give us a little spark. Just don't sell the farm trying to salvage this. At least while Dusty is writing these asinine lineups.

Crane gave away in successive order whatever brain trust was committed to right moves. Click and that AGM gone, Dusty back, Bagwell in. This is the result. The Astros aren't that franchise anymore apparently.
