Dusty should be fired for putting Montero in the game in that spot. Dead serious. So sick of his moves costing games. We're not in spring training anymore. ****ing act like it.

Yup, use your best against their best on the 8th or 9th.

In reality, bullpen has been really bad this month. If it's not Montero, it's Abreu. If it's not Abreu, it's Maton. Pressly hasn't been horrible, but he has given up some runs in multiple outings in a row. Neris is really the only guy that has been super consistent. Even Stanek has had one or two bad innings this month.

Becoming more and more convinced we should be in the market for a reliever rather than a 3rd starter.

Maton and Abreu already have some of the highest usage rates in MLB. He has to use Montero to keep those guys fresh if Brown isn't going to given him someone else. I just wish it wasn't in the 8th inning or later.

Starting pitching has been solid all season long. Offense produces, bullpen blows it. Bullpen performs, offense not putting up anything.

I think this goes overlooked too often. Crane went full Cal McNair this offseason putting unqualified people in major decision making roles.
