Interesting. Seth had only thrown 10 pitches. I would have left him in and saved the innings for everyone else.

Even if he has a shutout inning, does anyone really think this sleepwalking, utterly punchless lineup is going to plate two?
These guys are pros though. Most been in the league a while. How much coaching do they need to get better? And motero sucks

For all the ****ting on the Reds, they're about to get back to .500 riding a 6 game win streak, and are a game out of first place. The Astros can't take any of these series for granted, they aren't a super team this year.

Not absolving any coaches, your point is valid, but ultimately there are nine guys responsible for walking up there and not popping up or pulling weak grounders on the second pitch, and collectively they refuse to do it.
Edit: Should say eight because realistically you can't even expect that out of Maldonado.
