Wish it wasn't against us but I can't be unhappy to see Springer have success given the low stakes. I root against Cole, but watching Springer underperform that contract massively this season makes me hurt a little for the guy.

So likable and left for understandable circumstances. Plus he's been wretched against us, which makes it easier not to begrudge him.

I noticed you left off Maldonado and Abreu stats against RHP. They are two of our starters. If your concern is our ability to hit righties maybe start with the problem rather than focusing on minor upgrades above guys who are already decent.

I am with you. But Dusty is a real factor in this. Abreu & Maldo aren't going anywhere.
