Yeah. They have the land all set up for the stadium. Talk is they could play in a minor league stadium until it's built, but capacity is only 10,000 and it's outdoors. So they may be stuck in no man's land until 2027.

So basically they can still play in front of their normal crowd of 2000. It just won't look so empty.

What they're missing is public funding and the Nevada legislature goes into a long recess soon. So it's not as simple as having the land deal.

That said, I think they find a way to make it work. The bridge with the City of Oakland is torched.

So I live in MO for the time being and am just following along on gamecast while the Royals vs. White Sox is on at the restaurant we are at.

How pissed would we have been with a Jackie Bradley Jr. signing?? OPS is a cool 447 for the Royals. That's way worse than even Maldy. Don't tell me they weren't cheating in 2018.
