It's nice to see Peña hitting and a little more comfortable in the box lately. If we get get a couple weeks Iof post season Pena, would be huge.

So, looking up in the standings at Arlington: after this upcoming series, they will have played 12 games against the Royals and A's. They've also had 3 against the Reds. Those teams are bad. Really bad.
We've had 7 games against the Giants and White Sox. They are on the Reds level of bad, but nowhere near as terrible as the Royals and A's.

Just saw the last inning from today's replay. That got dicey quickly, but Press got it done. I know the bats have been struggling recently, but getting quality starts makes such a difference. Looking for Abreu to break through in Chicago this weekend.

This is absolutely true. Last year, the Astros lead the league with quality starts. Something like 52% of the time we had starters go 6 innings. That's huge.
This year, it's like 45% so far. Makes sense so far as JV is gone and LMJ is hurt.
That horrible call yesterday on Meyers was a Fred Brocklander special. For those who don't remember, Fred was the fat ass hole who called Craig Reynolds out at 1st base where we had a man on third who would have scored.
