Yeah I think it's this. With almost every pitcher hitting mid to upper 90s nowadays, this is probably the new norm. Way too much torque on the arm.

I feel bad for Luis. It is a long road back from TJ, but let's be honest here, he is our number 4 starter when LMJ is back. We do have pitching depth, though it is thinning. The Astros liked Blanco as a possible starter. They may stretch him out as the number 5. Also, France and Whitley may get their shots. Remember in 2017 when Fiers had to pile up innings? We just have to make it to the postseason. I don't think losing our number 4 is make or break. The bats need to come around though.
