Lets be real. LMJ isn't pitching for the team in May and Urquidy is on the IL and who knows if/when he comes back.

It's a long way to that best rotation in baseball.

Probably not.

It seems like TJ comes for everyone eventually now. Garcia's usage the last few years really ramped up quickly after very little in 2020. With the postseason and WBC, Garcia was around 170 innings 2 years in a row with short offseason. He would really ramp up at times and hit upper 90s when he normally lived low 90s.

Or maybe that had nothing to do with it. You can't really know.

Brantley with a walk in his first AB tonight. In a week he's raised his average from .214 to .316 so he's getting really close.

Really a bummer for Luis. Suddenly the Astros have gone from an excess of quality starting pitching to way short in a hurry.

I honestly think we will see an uptick in these injuries. This pitch clock **** is going to ruin these pitchers. There's a reason why there was never a pitch clock previously. Id expect pitchers to strike at some point regarding these injuries and how its not safe for pitchers
