Not sure if anyone else did, but I made a comment to that effect yesterday. I've seen many folks talk about this -- including Brauny here on TA who also coaches for one of the Twelves select teams. I think the theory is that fielding on the glove side with your feet slightly unsquared position is a much more athletic position. I've mainly seen in on the left side of the infield by Bregs, Correa, Pena, etc but it's super prevalent in the college game as well.redline248 said:
Oh, random thought: I just watched the highlights from yesterday. Someone made a comment about how they aren't a fan of how infielders are taught to field ground balls after Bregman's ole. I can't imagine anyone teaches kids to field like that.
