Not sure if anyone else did, but I made a comment to that effect yesterday. I've seen many folks talk about this -- including Brauny here on TA who also coaches for one of the Twelves select teams. I think the theory is that fielding on the glove side with your feet slightly unsquared position is a much more athletic position. I've mainly seen in on the left side of the infield by Bregs, Correa, Pena, etc but it's super prevalent in the college game as well.
