I think all he cares about is the money honestly. Love Carlos for what he did in Houston… but he strikes me as somebody who is fine for the time being. Maybe later in his career he's going to wish he had another ring

I think you're way off on Carlos. I think he would've loved to retire in Astro and win titles with us but I don't think he was going to give up tens to hundreds of millions of dollars to do it.
Plus gave him a low-ball extension offer. Can't forget about that.
I think if we matched an offer he would have stayed. I still think there was another offer out there besides the 6 year deal we offered and the 10+ year deal that people speculated would get him.

Astros were 8th entering today in most strikeouts. 12 so far puts them in the top 2 depending what else happens this afternoon. That is a very far cry from past teams. Getting Altuve and Brantley back will help that trend.

Dubon needs to make that play. If he's in there for his defense, then he needs to get to that. If he can't even do that, he's frankly worthless.

Probably, but you can't deny that Correa is the real deal (with injuries factored in). It would've been amazing for him and Altuve to be double play combos for almost the entirety of their careers.
Good thing Dubon is actually getting an occasional hit, because his glove has not been great.
