Two good things:

1) Sweep avoidance. Did this quite a few times last year. Looked like poo for the first two games of a series but salvaged the last one. Losing 1 game in standings so much better than losing 3.

2) Timely 6+ inning starts. Bullpen was taxed the first five games. JV came though for quite a few needed "bullpen rest" games last year. Nice to Framber and Javier did their part the last two games. Fresh pen entering Minn.

Even though TED has had 1-2 extra base hits taken away due to plus defense, he still has a 1.2 OPS. That price tag is going up, up, up. Enjoy it before it's gone.
