You know, I'm happy for Julks having decent success, so far, in his rookie season. He still should not be playing instead of Chas. Neither should Meyers, for that matter.

Having said that, I hope they both hit 2 homers each, today.

Yea. We let W Harris and Graveman walk under similar circumstances and signed/developed other guys to replace them. Not sure why Montero was the guy we decided "yea, he's the one who's worth 3/$30+ million to keep".

Bullpen guys having career years in contract years is always a little suspicious for me. Maton and Neris have been great this year in their contract years. Shocking.


Because we were GM-less when that deal was made.

Fyi, for any of us who use Twitter to follow sports, Elon is taking a sledgehammer to the ability to use Twitter without paying. Might be time to find another medium

An extended rest might be good for him long term. He threw 200 IL and is on pace for about the same this year.

The combination of us playing as many games last year as well as the WBC in the offseason has to be a factor. Heck, the Phillies aren't setting the world on fire either.

On the flip side, the Rangers had plenty of rest.
