We've treated half the season like spring training. even when we were winning (barely) you could see it coming , that's why everyone constantly had to remind us they weren't under .500

I get the game is over, but pinch hitting with Salazar should be a fireable offense alone.

Let the emotion go and focus on what we have and what we hope to have with Brantley, Urquidy, and Alvarez coming back. Factoring that in, along with all the negatives, what is your futurecast feeling on a scale of 1-10 in terms of the playoffs?
I'm a 6. Not overall (season to date), because that would be a 3 or 4. But looking ahead, I'm still cautiously optimistic. I can't believe the vets will continue to post negative numbers relative to last year. At some point Dusty will play the best players- he's done it in the past even with a big lead. Crane has shown he will make moves and spend the money to compete. The Astros won't go winless in extra innings all year long.
What do you think? I still see at least a wildcard spot, which the Phillies and countless other teams have shown can be the lightning rod to a long playoff run.

Abreu is 5th worst among qualified hitters in xwOBA and 9th worst in xSLG. He is 8th worst in xOBA. And that after his "resurgence" in the last 3 weeks.
