Would be nice just to get the GIDP and see what the offense can do. Maldy and then top of the order. Can do it if we keep them to 4.

I think we need to make trade moves for pitching at the deadline, not offense. Our pitching is strong, but with the injuries I think we need a little more depth.

For offense? Just hope Yordan gets back soon and Brantley eventually plays. And most importantly, START DIAZ FOR CRYING OUT LOUD

Biggest waste of resources I've seen. Dana needs to send Julks down so he doesn't get played.

3 of the best bats on the team weren't in the lineup tonight. With those 3 playing we would put up 5-6 runs easily

Where are you going to put "the bats" even if we trade for them?

All the slots are basically taken. Maybe an outfielder, but the question is, will they be that much more of an improvement over Meyers or Chas? And why trade for one if Brantley is truly coming back?

We are rolling with Abreu, they are not going to give up on him. So we will (for better or worse) be taking a gamble there. But at least he's doing better recently.

Our problem is streaky inconsistent hitting, but our lineup is also being shamefully put together and we are batting way below our potential. If we had the right lineup in place, with Maldy NOT starting and Yordan back, we'd probably see less complete shutout games than what we have now.
