Hell, if we aren't going to play Diaz, even he could be trade ammo.

Not sure any rental will be that expensive though, as the big incentive for Chicago is dropping their payroll

I think he's been a bit of an overachiever this year. As long as we pay the prospect price of a #3 type guy who's got a large salary then I'm good with it. We're not getting a true ace to compete with Framber & Javier.

I like his mental makeup. He'll probably rub some people the wrong way. If I recall, at one time he was pretty outspoken about the sign stealing.

We should 100% not trade Diaz. He's going to outlast Dusty & Maldy. We need a catcher long term. He helps keep the window open.
