I was curious why he's only had 53 ABs this year in 12 games. Looks like he was just activated off the IL at the end of April.W said:
Grichuk should be on the list
I believe he's a free agent at the end of the season...so he shouldn't cost too much

Abreu had 2 hits and a walk last night. Clearly 1B is not a problem anymoreLonestar_Ag09 said:

I'd say it's more than slightly encouraging, it means he's seeing the ball better and seeing a lot more pitches. At some point hopefully he'll get his timing down.W said:

I missed this, why are we carrying three catchers?Farmer1906 said:
Can't have him catching too often.

To give Dusty the ability and flexibility of playing Diaz anywhere and any time without having to worry about burning his backup catcher.
A concept he seems to have fully embraced.

I don't know what you guys are thinking. The rules have always been pretty clear. Stay off the other team's thread.
Now for any Arlingtonians lurking, you can all go boink yourself.

Glad you guys are back. Make fun of the Rangers on here and leave them to their overinflated postseason dreams. Reality is about to smack them in the grabby-grab area.
Update from Lance McCullers Jr:

(@lmccullers43):”Feeling really good.I was throwing pretty hard today-just shy of 40pitches.If I come n tomorrow feeling good&there’s no emergency flags, which we’re not expecting,I should hopefully get off the hill against some hitters real soon” pic.twitter.com/pUeXS7MhFl
We asked Dusty Baker for the latest on Lance McCullers Jr after his bullpen today: “I was there..I saw u out there spying (using my phone for video).I was like who is that up there.I thought it might’ve been the FBI or somebody.I saw that’s only Mark..He’s throwing the ball well” pic.twitter.com/kNrthai3sB

Lance McCullers Jr. threw a 37-pitch bullpen session today. There’s a chance he could face hitters in a live BP this weekend, but that’s still to be determined. His velocity was up to 92 on the fastball and 88-89 with the cutter.

Lance McCullers Jr. threw 37 pitches in the bullpen today, throwing fastballs, sinkers, cutters and changeups (he’s throwing offspeed off flat ground), He was up to 92. If everything feels good tomorrow, he will throw live batting practice Friday or Saturday.

Someone start the **** talking thread. I've basically ignored them the last few years because of how bad they've been.
It's literally in the thread title / OPDies Irae said:Mathguy64 said:

I honestly didn't know about that. I made a post about Rougned Odor and was banned shortly after.

It's been up for a month.

Wait, staph gave you a mini vacay because you posted a tweet on the Rangers thread? From their own game?
We all ***** about the umpires and sometimes we only see it our way, it's human nature. Of course with the aggregated rankings we know we're getting the short end of the stick worse than 28 other teams (only one team gets it worse than we do, can't remember who). I was simply showing them they didn't get screwed like they thought they did. Oh the horror!
Anyway, lesson learned. I'll never post on their stupid thread again.
Trevor Bauer pitched today in Japan but was pulled after 2 innings after giving up SEVEN earned runs.
