So, let's take some stock. Sure, 2 walks, no good. But 4 hits. 1 check swing special, seeing eye deep in the hole, pitch in the left hander batters box taken to center, and a pitch in on the hand flared to left.

The two cookies weren't any good, but man, the other 4 hits were the mariners living right.

So, agree here. At about 20ish pitches, might have been nice to have someone up to pitch to Crawford so Montero wasn't doing it with 30 pitches.
