For a bunt like to work, the runner has to be moving with the bunt. So you're asking Jose Abreu, who's probably bunted 5 times in the past 20 years to bunt a ball in fair territory that doesn't get caught while asking Yordan Alvarez who runs like a svelte rhinoceres to break from third and get home faster than whoever fields the bunt can throw to the catcher or the pitcher covering.

There are about 60 bad things that can happen in that situation and a high likelihood of a double play.
