Dusty's awake and was actually coaching up Jake in the dugout
Lacking in BBs and XBH. He has been a bright spot. No doubt about it. He's 100% stepped up in Altuve's absence. But sometimes we go a little over the top with the exaggeration.RED AG 98 said:I would say he's been playing big league average, which so far exceeds the AAAA we all expected that it feels like so much more. Seems to the primary drop off from the elite 2Bs is the extreme lack of xBH, right?Farmer1906 said:halfastros81 said:
I know it isn't going to happen. But Dubon has played All Star quality baseball thus far. I thought he couldn't hit his weight. I was wrong. His fielding and baserunning has also been stellar. No power I know but I really like what I've seen
I dunno who they will send back when Brantley and Altuve come back but it's no easy choice. Hensley would be my choice but as someone previously pointed out, who gives Abreu rest at first?
He absolutely has not been playing at an "All Star" level. He was 16th in WAR and 16th in wRC+ going into the game for second baseman.
Almost a very bad TOOTBLAN. Looks like he thought he was doubled off and started walking back to the dugout before realizing otherwise and getting back on the bag.Ags #1 said:
What was dusty yelling at jake for? Cant watch

Yordan would stand to win big if Abreu can remember how to hit with RISP.

Fangraphs had Dubon at 99 wRC+ and 0.4 WAR coming into the night.
For reference, Abreu was at 47 and -0.7 respectively.
I thought he was putting in a pitch comFarmer1906 said:
Why was the pitching coach (whoever it was in the BP) doing to that reliever's cap?
Makes sense. I thought he might be applying something extra.cap-n-jack said:
