A semi-competent manager will do so many things differently; it's absolutely no shock that teams always seem to excel immediately after Dusty is dismissed.

Fired, asked to retire, call it whatever you want. It was a devastating mistake to allow Dusty back for 2023 We already have it confirmed that Dusty didn't have the trust and authority from the FO to manage the team in the playoffs last year

Fired? No, but there was absolutely no excuse for renewing his contract and bringing him back; the signs about what he has done to this season were there throughout last season.

Getting hot in October excused a lot of things that shouldn't have been forgotten.

Click and Dusty both should've been out after last season with Dusty in a "go out on top" pat on the back.

I'm still convinced anybody could have managed this team to a World Series win last year. Every single pitcher was on point (minus LMJ).

Also my post was pointing to he managed very well from 2020-2022, he should have pulled a Peyton Manning and retired on top.
