Stop the effing lineup roulette.
I know it's game 151 but damn

That bloop was so bad it doesn't even register an xBA on statcast. 72.8 mph EV and a 31 degree LA.Beat40 said:carpediem13 said:
MLB App got the pitches backwards. Ball hit was in the zone
Thanks for the clarification. Because it looked like really bad luck on the MLB app.

Against known elite starter John Means who has drawn comparison to Sandy Koufax, Pedro Martinez and any other pitcher the Astros have made look elite… that 2 run deficit is huge
He'll probably be out soon due to pitch count but the O's bullpen isn't exactly much easier to deal with.
And good thing we have our best lineup tonight so can make a comeback…
Would rather run the pitcher out and start facing multiple bullpen arms in game 1 of a 3 game series no matter how good they are.Beau Holder said:tjack16 said:

That tracker is inaccurate. It got thrown off because of the automatic strike when the AB started. The pitch way up and away was called a ball and then the one he put in play was low-middle/inThe Beef01 said:
Well, that's all good-and-well, but those 2 runs are on the ump…that's a direct impact call on what should've been strike 3.

The app is wrong. Flip pitches four and five
The funny thing is my original comment was because the MLB app had the ball hit as 2 ft above the strike zone and in the other batter's box right after a strike 3 called a ball, so I assumed blooper.Mathguy64 said:That bloop was so bad it doesn't even register an xBA on statcast. 72.8 mph EV and a 31 degree LA.Beat40 said:carpediem13 said:

I think the strike 3 turned into a ball because of a timer violation.Beat40 said:The funny thing is my original comment was because the MLB app had the ball hit as 2 ft above the strike zone and in the other batter's box right after a strike 3 called a ball, so I assumed blooper.Mathguy64 said:That bloop was so bad it doesn't even register an xBA on statcast. 72.8 mph EV and a 31 degree LA.Beat40 said:carpediem13 said:

Turned out it was a blooper, just not as absurdly hit a I thought.
I mean… he's 73 years old. Cut him some slack.jkag89 said:
Forgot about the second Yankees start, even with that outing he has hardly been garbage. What he hasn't been is elite like he was last season.
