Ok, I'm back. Tbh I didn't think this team was built to repeat heading into the year but I absolutely believed all year, even with the injuries, that we are a playoff team. If we miss out then my blame goes 100% on Dusty, not the injuries, not the pitching, but Dusty alone.
There's a lot of managers around the league that would have this team performing much better than they are.

That Dusty can't figure out that Chas is an everyday player, or bury whatever grudge he has to make him one is simply amazing.

I can buy a little the idea of playing Maldy to keep the pitching staff centered with all the shuffling due to injuries in the first part of the season.

But damn, the constant lineup changes when your team already has enough uncertainty makes no sense.

Anyways, no surprise that this game has started the way it has after losing 3 at home to a garbage Yankees team.
