So I counted 6 runs this series saved by balls taken back from the wall, their fans interfering and that last play.

I'm actually feeling pretty good. Don't like losing but we won the series and almost came back again. Team is gritty. Also BP has been awesome.

That is just how baseball goes sometimes. We played great this series and were a break or two from the sweep. We keep playing at this level and we'll win 100 games.

That snag by Frazier on Yordan saved a run -- and it was 115.2 off the bat.

the Astros have played so well in the second half

but have very little margin in the standings for the playoffs

need the Guardians to hang on vs. the Blue Jays

Sure. It should have been a right handed Abreu whose bat is so slow he can't hit 95 much less 101. Or maybe Machete. That would have worked.

I think the most frustrating thing is you can see in series like these that this team SHOULD have the best record in the MLB, but for some reason (I wonder what it is) they can't play to their potential for what seems like half their games

Great series win and no reason to assume a sweep against a good team. Also a frustrating game with a ton of missed opportunities. Is what it is.

Exactly. Had some bad luck in this game and still almost took it.

They are playing well and have a chance to stack up some wins the next 2-3 series. Hope they do it.

Astros 11 LOB and 2-8 with RISP (4 runs on 10 hits and 4 walks).
Orioles 0 LOB and 3-3 with RISP (5 runs on 8 hits and no walks).

They were lucky to salvage, but I guess we were pretty fortunate in the first game.

Just awesome to see them have to go through Altuve, Bregman, Tucker, Alverez, Diaz, and big Jon in the 9th.

That lineup will do damage and that doesn't include when Chaz is there also.
