Yes, it was a catch that any right fielder should make 99.99% of the time. Unfortunately, Tucker has really been inconsistent defensively this year.

What gets me is this team understands how hard it is to win a championship. You have to play great defense, move runners, make contact, throw strikes, and be smart on the bases. We have seen very little of that this year, and it's not because they aren't capable. Just a crazy year of constantly circling the drain.

I keep hearing & reading that Dusty is a "player's manager". If that's the case, why does he not stick up for his players by defending them against umpires like Angel and others that are equally as bad?

I'm not asking for a Billy Martin or Earl Weaver, but show me some passion while protecting your players.

p.s. You wouldn't want me as a manager. I would set a record for the number of ejections in a season.

It all evens out... Instead of the A's 6 more times, we get 6+ games from the worst 2 teams in the NL
