- scandal coming to light forced a lot of guys into a shell
- manager and GM get fired; replace great manager with awful, decrepit one
- Bregman loses all mojo and swagger beginning in COVID season
- club has played more games than any other team over past 6 seasons; might be worn out, bored, or both
- not much new young blood being brought up to re-energize the team; roster full of vets who may have less drive and fire than their early-20s selves
- needs to be said again: Dusty being manager sucks a ton of life and energy out of any clubhouse

Looked back on the Rags game where they lit this dude up. He was throwing a cutter that was getting pummeled that I guess is out of his repertoire now? He also dipped in velo by the 4th inning but that's not the case here either

While I agree with all this I'm hoping within the next month they catch another gear. As much as we want them to win the division I don't think they care too much. Make the playoffs and then they catch a spark….. I hope

Their manager gets himself thrown out on a call umpires got right. Our manager lets us get ****ed over and over and doesn't even shift which knee is elevated on the steps
