We get hit more than any team in the league.
Some years back, probably '04, I went to NYC to visit some friends and we went to a game at Shea, got cheap seats in the upper deck. The Mets were playing the Phillies. On the other side of the stadium, in the top deck, there was a big group of Phillies fans. At one point, they unveiled a large banner (like, a bedsheet) with something written on it. I took a picture with my digital camera (this was before iPhones and such) and zoomed in on it. It said, "And we thought the Vet was bad." Brutal and hilarious.Farmer1906 said:Of those listed, I have only been to Shea. That was sucked. This was 2006 (I think) so we had left the dome behind in Houston, but Shea reminded me of the Dome if you took a can opener to the roof and shrunk the concourse. Add in the hundreds of chop shops around the stadium and it was peak ****tiness.BeowulfShaeffer said:Said no one ever about Three Rivers/Riverfront/Veterans/(old)Busch/Shea stadium. I think they put up a factory somewhere in the midwest and cranked those puppies out one after the other... Those were such crappy "multifunctional" cookie-cutters that even actual cookies wound up being offended by them.Farmer1906 said:
PNC is at the top of my list (maybe tied with Petco) for Ballparks I want to visit.
