Still wondering why Madris was swinging after a HBP and two walks. Maybe watch a freaking pitch. The approach the coaches encourage at the plate continues to stun me. Just ignorant, dumb baseball.

I am very much looking forward to Yordan being back in this line-up. With the way Tuck and Abreu have warmed up, the 3-4-5 could be deadly.

I don't mind giving Madris some ABs when Diaz is catching as long as Yordan isn't playing, but you can't have both in the line-up at the same time.

I mean, just need one of them in the line-up with what Tuck and Abreu are doing and the offense is significantly better.

I agree though, with both in the lineup at the same time, and Tuck and Abreu staying warm, the offense is going to look much different the second half.

When I played little league, for my first season at least, I got ZERO hits in any games. I batted ninth but the one thing I did so well was throw (played LF) and I could run. Whenever I got on base which was half the time I always managed to steal second.

I understand how Maldy must be feeling but my god we HAVE to trade him sooner rather than later


I was a decent hitter (usually hit 2nd or 5th) but as a kid, I loved fielding so much more than hitting. Don't know why but defense was so fun.
