How is this any different that Spring Training? The pitchers are truly the only concern, since they may pitch longer than they are ready for this time of the year. The other players would be playing ST games anyway.
yes, and the fact that the teams and fans are happy when their players skip the WBC...tjack16 said:
As much as I support guys going all out for the WBC. I am thankful that guys like Yordan and Bregman aren't in it. They would 100% get injured
That's b/c teams and fans are selfish. We don't give 2 f-cks about the DR or Cuban national teams...so of course we'd prefer our players from those countries skip it. Though, I don't recall reading too many posts that showed a desire for Tucker or Pressly to skip it.W said:yes, and the fact that the teams and fans are happy when their players skip the WBC...tjack16 said:

I'm going to listen to an all-time great like Mike Trout who says WBC is good for baseball, instead of a washed-up, mentally unstable boomer that's trying to stay relevant and throws tantrums over everything.W said:

Any of those celebrations have been an accident waiting to happen. He could have done it on the first game of the season celebrating a walk off bunt.W said:Diaz would not have been celebrating like that after a spring training winn_touch said:

How could you not mention his greatest distinction? The Astros literally traded him to LA for a pitcher named Scrubb.Quote:
Wagner's leaving set up for the jersey to be worn by the greatest of all Astros, Tyler White, who donned it from 2016-2019 after the Jersey had been expanded from medium to 4XL. The pride of Forest City, North Carolina, he was a 33rd round draft pick by the Astros in 2013. In his first six games as an Astro, he hit .556 with a 1.167 slugging percentage, prompting Peter Gammons to declare, "There goes Tyler White, the best who ever lived."
