If we're talking Breggy's style, the sneaks with a suit ain't it. Plus, why does he have the coat on when his girl doesn't need to cover much?

I love Hensley. He has showed up to every damn off-season thing available. I think he just lives in the Astros caravan trailer.

And dude why the hell not? I hope he becomes a superstar but he could also be another Derek Fisher so just in case, good for him for enjoying every last second of this.

Would be awesome!

And not just off-season stuff. He was in Vegas with Bregs and Lance and Musgrove and that crew for a UFC fight.

He at the Rockets & Texans with Pena too.

I didn't realize they were still tight with Musgrove. I guess no one took the comments about not being proud to wear the 2017 ring personally.

On another note not only are the Houston Astros the best team in the league, but I think the former Houston Astros are probably the best "former" team in the league.

That is basically what I wear to work most days sans tie

White AF1s and a suit is the look!

He is rocking some Coke Hahns which aren't bad either but with his budget I'd go bigger

Agreed. The talent that went through this system from 2015 to 2020 is just crazy good

I'm not sure what shoes he's wearing though

I get people do it. It's not for me. What profession requires a suit yet not shoes on the same level?

I would add 100-RBI seasons to the surefire boxes.

at the end of the day it's about scoring runs and driving in runs.

Bagwell had eight 100-RBI seasons.

plus nine 100-runs scored seasons

I think ball players care a lot less about stuff than we think they do or should.

They'll take just about anyone on their team that will help them win a WS outside of a few exceptions.

on HOF, the bbwa are perhaps the most sanctimonious collection of losers in north america. they won't make it easy on altuve to get in.

Listening to MLB Network Radio this morning, the hosts admitted that a lot of the writers will take personal feelings and how a player treats the media into account. If a player gives time for interviews after every game, they're more likely to get a vote. If a player keeps interviews short, or doesn't frequently grant interviews, it'll likely sway the voter's opinion.

I've thought they needed to do away with BBWAA being the sole source of votes. It needs to be a breakdown of players in HOF, current players, and BBWAA.

Do away with the 10 vote limit on ballots, and if a voter turns in a blank ballot more than once, their vote gets taken away and given to someone else.

I dont think any of those people deserve a vote in todays day and age. Personal feelings shouldn't apply at all in getting in the HOF IMO. Let the stats do the talking. Come up with some type of analytic threshold and if you meet the requirements your in.

It isn't 1935 anymore where baseball writers are responsible for supplying the box scores to the local newspaper to keep people up to date on the teams.

The writers have been D-bags forever. It's not a recent thing. Ted Williams only got 93.4% of the vote when he got inducted. The guy hit .344 with 521 home runs, made the all-star team 19 times, won 6 batting titles and fought in 2 wars. But he wasn't Joe Kiss-ass to the media so the punished him. He should have won a lot more MVPs as well.
