The Ballpark was a furnace in the summer. Fans didn't want to attend games. Yeah, those last 4 don't take up a lot of cap room. I think Yuli's intangibles are severely underrated and often overlooked.
Did MLB network or anyone here dive in to Yuli's playoff resurgence? It was such a pleasant surprise and a huge reason we went 11-2 in the playoffs (that is still a crazy underrated number!). Was it mechanics, patience at the plate, feeling healthy? What was missing during the regular season causing that struggle that he found again in October?
My eyes tell me it was a lot of luck and great BABIP
No strikeouts combined with no double plays hit into was a huge part of his success
He still doesnt hit the ball with authority, but if you can avoid dobule plays and strikeouts, he is a contact King

That makes a lot of sense. I'd take that for 81 games at 1B and DH and another 81 coming in to PH next season.
An interesting fact about Chas that I think a lot of people may not realize is that he has a higher career OPS than Josh Reddick.agproducer said:

Leon should get a chance this year. If not this, next. He's a 5 tool guy who was out for a few years. He's adjusting to the higher level of competition. I see him coming along like Yuli.
