I don't care if it's been 6 or 60. This team is building for the future and needs to be giving Willie and Solak as many ABs as possible. Not some old journeyman that will probably hit around the Mendoza line.


You sound super serious. Solak and Willie will get plenty of at-bats. Probably more than you'll want to see

Sure they will but we need to give them the full opportunity to figure out what we got. Not to mention Leody and Bubba are lighting it up currently in the minors. Kole is just a blocker currently….and he isn't good enough to be that.

So for those that get Ballys...I missed game tonight (but I know how it ended). So Bally replay shows whole top of 1 30ish pitches for 2-0 angel lead...... commercial time..... come back to top of 3rd..... not 1 single ranger ab but the score is now 4-2 Ranger and i get to watch another angel inning..... wth???? Is ballys an Angels broadcast????

After my first game last night at the new park...I really really like it. Everything about the concourses is easier. The seats are comfortable and the park is gorgeous in person. Really looking forward to seeing mid summer games and not melting my face off.

Some Farm updates.

Maybe I'm late to the party. Looks like the Minors are playing 6 game series with Monday a set off/travel day. I believe Leiter was the Saturday pitcher for Vandy. He looks like he will be the Saturday pitcher for Frisco. IIRC, this is more aligned with Japanese baseball. It moves you to a 6-Man rotation. My comment earlier about the number of IP early seemed elevated. AAA will play 150 G as of 2021, where as they played 140 before that.

Maybe I'll just do updates every Monday, for those interested.

Yeah. I loved the old park, but what we have now is great as well. It is nice my family will actually be able to go to summer games now too (wife has condition that heat and sun put her out of commission for days). My only issue is I need to find a new favorite place to park now and a new favorite section to sit.

When I posted the list above from Frisco, I was trying to figure out who Slaten was. Noticed he was from the 2019 draft.
